The triple threat: benefits, perks and culture.

A recent ABC10 segment with Schools Financial employee Alyssa and how she's utilizing our Babies in the Workplace Program.

The Babies in the Workplace Program was one of the reasons I came to work at Schools Financial. I knew we were going to start a family at some point, and a huge benefit was being able to bring our babies to work for six months.

Alyssa, Member Service Representative, Retail Sales

Schools Financial Credit Union offers great benefits and opportunities for growth to its employees. I began my career as a Member Service Representative, building relationships with our members by helping with their everyday financial needs. Working at a branch provided me with the essential tools and experience needed in my current role as a Business Analyst, where I support my fellow employees and the organization’s mission to provide our members with better value and outstanding service.

Leonel, Business Analyst

Working at Schools Financial has its benefits. Fulltime employees receive 100% paid medical, dental and vision benefits. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to receive up to a 7% employer contribution to the 401k plan and get reimbursed for furthering your education. We take care of you so you can take care of our members.

The culture here is simple. “People Helping People.” That is spread throughout the organization amongst employees and extends to our members and the community at-large. Programs like Babies in the Workplace and education reimbursement only further support the wellbeing of our staff. In kind, we give back to the communities we serve through volunteering our time, and often money, to education causes and community events.

We understand the importance of balancing work life and home life. That’s why we’ve designed programs to foster a happy atmosphere and show our employees we care. We thrive because our employees love what they do!

Time Off & Paid Holidays

Schools Financial offers generous sick leave and vacation time plans, and vacation time increases the longer you work at the Credit Union. In addition, employees enjoy paid holidays throughout the year.

Babies in the Workplace

This program encourages new mothers and fathers to return to work sooner by allowing them to bring their infant to work until the infant is six months old or crawling. Schools Financial is one of an approximate 200 companies in the country* providing this benefit!

Take Your Child to Work Day

Employees are encouraged to bring their child to work to develop their understanding of career opportunities, as well as to learn about the Credit Union and its long history in the communities it serves.

Volunteering

We care about the communities we serve and the employees who serve them. The Credit Union encourages its employees to volunteer within the communities they work and live in. Schools Financial provides each employee with paid time off during scheduled work hours to provide  community service and to participate in a child’s school activity.
