Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a 36 hr/wk position in our Member Contact Center (1485 Response Road). The Member Contact Center Representative provides responsive, accurate, and professional service to members calling our Call Center.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide quality member service by processing member transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Complete checking, savings and loan transactions in an accurate and expedient manner
  • Provide assistance to members regarding questions or problems with accounts or services
  • Promote the Credit Union by appropriately cross-selling products and services to meet established monthly sales goals
  • Research and make adjustments to member accounts as necessary
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures
  • Conduct each member interaction in a manner to meet our Core Values

Skills and Experience include the following:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or relevant work experience
  • Previous financial institution and call center experience desired
  • Excellent listening skills, math aptitude, and verbal communications skills are needed
  • Must be team oriented and enjoy working in a challenging environment
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Experience with electronic services (such as: mobile banking, online banking, Bill Pay, etc) is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is desired

Starting salary ranges from $13.15 - $17.98 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The schedule will be Monday - Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm with a day off for Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full time VISA Supervisor position in our Card Services Department at our Headquarters Location (1485 Response Rd). Under direction of the Manager of the VISA Department, the position oversees, directs and supervises all activities involving VISA Credit and Debit Card processing and administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises employees in Card Services. Responsible for employee motivation, development, counseling, discipline, and evaluations for department employees. Makes recommendations for the hiring and terminating of employees. Develops employees through departmental training on an on-going basis. Develops and monitors employee work schedules, such as breaks, lunches, and vacations.
  • Defines overall project strategies. Identifies and documents business requirements; estimates tasks and timelines; and develops project plans. Forecasts resource and budget requirements and analyzes projected benefits relative to costs.
  • Analyzes current work flow/procedures, identifies inefficiencies, researches potential solutions, evaluates solutions, and presents proposals for process improvements to the responsible management.
  • Initiates and directs activities associated with projects. Tracks project's progress and results against plan, and manages resource allocations. Assigns and monitors tasks and responsibilities. Creates and delivers presentations on project goals, plans and progress. Interacts with other departments and/or external sources to gather data and accomplish objectives. Schedules and facilitates meetings.
  • Develops, conducts, manages, and reports on compliance reviews, audits and inspections to ensure work of assigned personnel is in accordance with procedures, policies and regulations to include all areas under Card Services including but not limited to Reg Z, Reg E, Visa Operating Rules and the Card Act.
  • Oversees the charge-off, fraud, and lost/stolen card procedures involving all Visa charge off amounts, reports to credit bureau, GL entries, and warning bulletin entries.

Skills and Experience include the following:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college level courses with business courses preferred; equivalent work experience; or BS in Business
  • Two years of experience with a financial institution
  • A minimum one year supervisory experience with a financial institution required
  • One year of specialized training in credit/debit card processing required
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members/customers, and the general public

Starting salary ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 per year. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
